Outlook 2007 Set-up Directions
Important!!!
These settings only apply to email addresses hosted by Ashland Home Net.
If you use a web-based mail service (Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail, etc.) you will need to obtain the proper settings from them.
In Outlook, click Tools.
Click Account Settings...
Click New...
Enter your name, your email address, and your password.
The password is the password you gave us when we created the email address.
If you've forgotten your password, we can't tell you what it is, but we can reset it.
If this is the only computer you'll be using to access this email account, click Next.
If, you'll be checking this account from multiple computers, check the box that says "Manually configure server settings", and follow the directions for Outlook 2003, using IMAP as your server type.
Outlook will attempt to contact our server for the settings, and will not get an encrypted connection.
This is normal. Click Next.
Outlook has now configured your account. Click Finish, and then Close.
